FAQ
Frequently asked questions:
1. Where do you source your teas from?
We source directly from small-scale, artisan farmers in Taiwan’s renowned tea regions, including Alishan, Pinglin, Shanlinxi, and Lishan, ensuring authenticity and transparency.
2. Are your teas organic or sustainably grown?
While not all are certified organic, we prioritize sustainable and natural farming practices. We work with growers who avoid harmful pesticides and follow traditional, low-impact cultivation methods.
3. How fresh are your teas?
Our teas are harvested in small batches and air-shipped to Vancouver to maintain peak freshness and flavour.
4. Do you ship across Canada, the US and Internationally?
Yes, we ship Canada-wide.
We also ship to the US. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout.
*Starting August 29, 2025, all shipments from Canada to the U.S. via Canada Post will require duties to be prepaid (Delivered Duties Paid, or DDP). To comply, our checkout now automatically calculates and charges duties for U.S. orders. These fees will appear as a separate line item, helping ensure your order arrives smoothly with no surprise charges.
Our new International shipping feature is now live. We appreciate your patience as we work to ensure a smooth experience.
5. What’s the best way to brew your teas?
Each tea includes a detailed brewing guide for Western, Gongfu and Cold Brew preparation.
6. Do you offer samples or tea tasting kits?
Yes, we offer curated sample sets so you can explore different tea styles before committing to a full-size purchase. Perfect for beginners or gifts.
