Grown in the high mountain region of Alishan in Chiayi, Taiwan, this Jin Xuan oolong is prized for its naturally creamy character and gentle, floral aroma. Lightly oxidized and carefully crafted, it preserves the cultivar’s signature softness while expressing a fresh, elegant profile shaped by cool mountain air and mist.
This tea brews into a pale orchid gold liquor with a milky, smooth texture. Expect delicate notes of orchid and sweet milk, lifted by fresh pea tip brightness and a clean, refreshing sweetness that lingers on the palate.
Light, calming, and refreshing, Jin Xuan Oolong offers a soft, rounded profile with a lingering, sweet aftertaste, making it perfect for both daily enjoyment and quiet, restorative moments.
Brewing Recommendations:
Western:
2 g. | 250 ml | 90-95°C (195-203°F) | 3–4 min
Gongfu:
5 g. | 100 ml | 90-95°C (195-203°F) | 30-35 sec (1st), +10 sec
Cold Brewing:
4 g. | 500 ml | 8 - 24 hours in the refrigerator
Notes:
Western Brewing:
Longer steep times, fewer infusions (1-2).
Gongfu Cha:
Short steeps with multiple infusions (5-8+) Increase steeping time gradually.
Cold Brewing:
Long steep times in the refrigerator, fewer infusions (1-2).
