Grown in Dongshan, Yilan, Taiwan, this fragrant oolong is scented with pomelo flowers harvested during a brief two-week window from mid-March to April. The blossoms are carefully dried and roasted together with the tea leaves, allowing their natural oils to infuse the oolong with a vivid, layered aroma unique to this seasonal craft.
This tea brews into a luminous pomelo gold liquor with a light, silky texture. Expect bright notes of pomelo blossom and jasmine, complemented by soft honeyed sweetness and a fresh, grassy-citrus lift that lingers on the palate.
Floral, uplifting, and gently sweet, Pomelo Flower Oolong offers a vibrant, aromatic profile with a refreshing finish, making it perfect for both daily enjoyment and special seasonal moments.
Brewing Recommendations:
Western:
2 g. | 250 ml | 90-95°C (195-203°F) | 3–4 min
Gongfu:
5 g. | 100 ml | 90-95°C (195-203°F) | 30-35 sec (1st), +10 sec
Cold Brewing:
4 g. | 500 ml | 8 - 24 hours in the refrigerator
Notes:
Western Brewing:
Longer steep times, fewer infusions (1-2).
Gongfu Cha:
Short steeps with multiple infusions (5-8+) Increase steeping time gradually.
Cold Brewing:
Long steep times in the refrigerator, fewer infusions (1-2).
